A Note To Santa, And His Reply

I decided a long time ago that no matter how old my daughter gets, Santa will be coming around every Christmas. I don’t care if she figures out who Santa really is. For me, that’s a little tradition that’s important.

So, as part of that tradition, we always put out milk and cookies for Santa and a snack for the reindeer. Tonight, it was Nilla Wafers and popcorn kernels. And as always, Carolyn left Santa a note:

Dear Santa,

I believe in you more than anyone. Please tell me these two things. How do you make all the toys? How do you get in?

Love from,

Carolyn

And as always, Santa replied:

Dear Carolyn,

The cookies were delicious!

We start working on new toys the day after Christmas, and the elves work hard all year!

As for getting in, there’s always a way, even without a chimney! Ol’ Santa has a few tricks to help, but those are Santa’s secrets…

The reindeer loved the corn! And always remember – as long as little boys and girls believe, there will always be a Santa!

Love,

Santa Claus

p.s. – help your dad clean up – it’s kind of a mess in here!

As long as it is in my power, there will always be a note to Santa, and Santa will always reply. We may get older, but it doesn’t mean we have to give up our entire childhood. And our kids shouldn’t either.

Glad you liked the cookies Santa.
