Take Advantage Of Me

So, I’ve been a little busy writing posts at Edited For Clarity and sorting through older photos. That has meant a little less time in this neck of the woods. But it has been productive.

I recently started looking at my photography and noticed that while I have plenty of shots of pets, landscapes and architecture, my portrait stuff is a little weak. Lots of babies and kids, but not much in actual portrait or head shot style.

So I decided to look into a site that connects models with photographers. A large number of them will work for free in exchange for a CD of the images shot. Sounds like a great deal, and a good way to augment my portfolio. So I sign-up, and part of the process is submitting photos that you’ve shot previously. Unfortunately, they require the photos to be of adults. Which is what I don’t have. Which is why I wanted to join in the first place.

So, now I’ve got Plan B, also know as “Take Advantage Of Leo”.

The plan is simple: If you are looking to get portraits or headshots done on location somewhere, I will give you a 2-hour photoshoot for free. Gratis. No money. You’ll even get a CD/DVD with all the finished images.

What’s the catch? I get to use the images for promotion, sale and/or exhibition. That’s it.

I can do about 5 of these sessions. You pick a place, grab a couple of changes of clothes and do yourself up nice. I’ll bring the camera and gear, and we shoot.
