I’d like to tell people what phenomenal timing I have and that the composition of this shot was all a matter of perfect calculation. I’d also like to be able to say I’m independently wealthy and living high on the hog. Neither would be true.
This was a fly by of four generations of American air power, including a Mustang, a Sabre jet, an F-4 Phantom and an F-22 Raptor. I was just looking to get a clean shot where I could see all four aircraft. At just that moment, the moon popped into the center of the frame.
Sometimes, you also have to be lucky.
